Julie Riley

Julie Riley

Trained with Jennifer Riley, Julie went on to further her training with a much respected teacher Dorothy Stevens at her full time vocational school.

Julie has danced as a professional in Denmark, Greece, Finland, Ireland and all over the United Kingdom. After a few years Julie started her own group 'Kaloukie' performing abroad and at home.

Julie then joined her mother Jennifer at the Riley School and has become the main choreographer for all of the competition and show work. 

Julie has been teaching for 28 years.

Jennifer Riley

Trained with Christine Orange at the Rambert Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. She has danced with Theatre Des Arts, Rouen and has performed with Billy Dainty, Charlie Caroli, Freddie Frinton and Lex McClain.

As a registered teacher and lifetime member of the Royal Academy of Dancing, Jennifer has taught for nearly 50 years and began the Riley School in 1975.

Emma Riley

Emma Riley

Emma began her training at the Riley School of Dance, she was a finalist of Young Dancer of the Year and runner-up in the International Senior Ballet Championship at Sheffield City Hall.

Emma then went on to further her training at West Street Ballet School, followed by Central Ballet School.

After winning Miss Dance of Great Britain in 1993 Emma was given a contract with the Vienna Ballet Company as a soloist.

Since then Emma has joined her Mother and Sister at the Riley School as a teacher of ballet, jazz and dance pilates. Emma has been teaching for 16 years.

Joanne Newton

Joanne is a former pupil of the Riley School of Dance and furthered her training at the Royal Ballet School teachers course. 

Having worked both professionally in both Germany and England, Joanne has now been teaching at the Riley School of Dance for more than 10 years.

Hannah Jones

Hannah Jones is a former pupil of Angela Reynolds who furthered her training at London Contemporary Dance College and teaches I.S.T.D senior tap workshops for the Riley School of Dance.
